I believe in Bentonville! I am a champion of recruiting high-value businesses to increase our city’s revenue instead of asking citizens to cover the cost of growth. At City Hall, I will deliver open, transparent representation: listening first, respecting all, and finding common-ground solutions to keep Bentonville thriving.
The growth is coming and it can't be stopped. Let's embrace it and prepare for it instead of always playing catch up. Of course, building up infrastructure requires money that Bentonville doesn't currently have...

Roads, storm drains, parking, side walks, the maintenance of parks and trails, the Fire and Police Departments, and more are all paid for out of Bentonville's general fund. 85% of Bentonville's general fund comes from sales tax revenues, and our sales tax revenues are currently declining per capita! But why? We're growing!
Well...
If you want to buy a pair of shoes, go out to eat with your family, or see a movie or a concert, where do you go? ROGERS! Guess how Rogers' sales tax revenues are looking? Very strong.

Too often, politics feels like a fight where one side tries to overpower the other and treat neighbors like enemies. That’s not how government was meant to work, especially locally. At its heart, our Constitution was built to do something harder: bring different people together to find common ground and work for the common good.
That mindset guides how I serve on the Bentonville City Council:
When folks come to City Hall to talk about roads, parks, or zoning, they aren't enemies—they are neighbors who love our town. My promise is to listen first, skip the winner-take-all attitude, and focus on practical solutions that help all of us.
